The initiative behind the 'I Love Who I AM' Project took place in the city of La Paz - Bolivia. The Intention of the Project was to contribute to the psychosocial development of disadvantaged children (i.e those who are exposed to inequality or poverty) in the local and surrounding areas. The key objectives of the project was to: 1. Enhance psychomotor skills and healthy expression of the children's emotions.  In addition to promoting the acquisition of healthy habits. 2. Support children to develop a sense of respect for themselves and the environment around them. 3. Promote emotional awareness in children, encouraging participants to link with their feelings thoughts and attitudes through their voice, their body and their actions. To achieve this; the Team at Psicoart Studio, in support and collaboration with Smiling Hearts and the local municipality, facilitated 3 key health and wellbeing initiatives targeting children 7-11 years of age. These included; 1.  Physical Exercise with education around mind body connection, motor skill development and emotional management training. 2.  Art Therapy as a way of expressing emotions through various creative expression and art activities like painting, drawing, yoga, breathing and meditation. 3.  Music and Sound as a way of supporting children to express their feeling in a fun and supported way.​ ​​​Over a period of month The Psicoart Studio Team with the support of Smiling Hearts managed to touch the hearts and lives of over 50 children from highly vulnerable villages in the area.​
